Bingham is a historic market town in Nottinghamshire, situated east of Nottingham in the fertile Vale of Belvoir. The settlement has medieval origins and developed around agriculture, markets and local trade. Today it is a popular residential and local service centre surrounded by the gently rolling countryside of south-east Nottinghamshire.
