Glyn-neath is a town in the Neath Valley of Neath Port Talbot, situated among the wooded hills and valleys of south Wales. The settlement grew through coal mining, ironworking and other industries associated with the South Wales Valleys. Its location at the northern end of the Neath Valley gives it close connections with the Brecon Beacons landscape.
